Disaster Relief Shelter

This project required studying precedent studies of Indigenous Shelters, then designing a disaster relief shelter for a chosen disaster. Sustainable designs should be implemented wherever possible. Durability and availability of materials, ease and quickness of erection, interior program, use, configuration, and circulation, orientation and access to natural light, response to climatic conditions, insulating, heating, and weather protection, and structure should be considered.

Patricia's project was designed for a flood as big, if not bigger, than the Calgary flood of 2013.
